13. Public hearing, consider and take action on approval of Ordinance 2023-13 allowing a Specific Use Permit (SUP-23-001) for a proposed Carwash (Self-Service) at the North Avalon Addition (generally depicted as Lot 2, Block A) on approximately 2.891 acres of land in the Francis W. Thorton Survey, Abstract No. 1244, Town of Argyle, Denton County, Texas; and being located on the east side of IH 35 W, south of FM 407, and west of Gateway Blvd.
14. Public hearing, consider and take action on Ordinance 2023-14 allowing an ordinance amendment (TDS-23-002) to consider amendments to Article V, Tree Preservation of the Town of Argyle Town Development Standards regarding tree protection measures within the right-of-way, specified timeline for preserved trees on a site, and counting existing trees for the required landscaping within the landscape buffer.
15. Discuss and clarify the scope of the Comprehensive Plan.
16. Consider and take action on Resolution 2023-19 approving a Tree Rebate Program for the Town of Argyle.
17. Consider and take action on a Site Plan (SP-23-002) for a special exception/sign variance request on two monument signs for Teresa’s House, an Assisted Living/Memory Care Development, located on the north side of Tucker Street and east of US 377, being 4.099 acres and legally described as Lot 2, Block A of Argyle Crossing Phase I, Town of Argyle ETJ, Denton County, Texas.
18. Consider and take action on funding or accepting donations for a Veteran's Memorial to be constructed at Unity Park.
19. Consider and take action on Resolution 2023-20 to approve a policy for naming municipal property and streets and recognizing exceptional citizen service to the Town.
20. Consider and take action on a request to name the proposed new law enforcement facility the Don Moser Law Enforcement Facility.
21. Consider and take action on a request for an award of Exceptional Citizen Service Recognition to Joan Delashaw.
22. Consider and take action on approving the position of Argyle Municipal Development District Executive Director.
