PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS Public hearing on a proposed property tax rate of $0.378193 per $100 assessed valuation for the tax year 2020 (Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021) for the Town of Argyle, which would increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 3.5%.
ACTION ITEMS Consider approval of Ordinance 2020-19 of the Town Council of the Town of Argyle, Texas, adopting the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021.
Consider approval of Ordinance 2020-20 levying taxes to be assessed on all taxable properties within the Town Limits of the Town of Argyle, TX for the Tax Year 2020 (FY 2020-2021).
Consider approval of Resolution 2020-21 ratifying the tax revenue for the tax year 2020 (FY 2020-2021) for the Town of Argyle, TX.
Consider approval of Ordinance 2020-21 amending the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Official budget, adopted by Ordinance 2019-24, appropriating $8,461 from the unappropriated fund balance of the General Fund for the purpose of funding repairs to the HVAC system at the Police Department Facility.
Consider approval of Resolution 2020-23 authorizing an agreed termination and release contract for 2019 Street Improvements Part 1 and Part 2 with H.D. Cook's Rock Solid, Inc. and authorizing the Mayor Pro Tem to execute same on behalf of the Town.
Consider approval of Resolution 2020-24 approving Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Teague Nall and Perkins for the Crawford Road Project.
