Consider a Resolution providing for the redemption of certain outstanding obligations of the Town of Argyle, Texas, more particularly described as follows: Town of Argyle, Texas, Special Assessment Revenue Bonds, Series 2018 (Waterbrook of Argyle Public Improvement District Project), dated January 1, 2018, being a portion of such bonds maturing on September 1 in each of the years 2023, 2028, 2038 and 2047 and aggregating in the principal amount of $405,000. 5. PUBLIC HEARING: Consider and take appropriate action on a Zoning Change Request (Z-18-001) from Village Center-Transition (VC-T) to Office Retail (OR) for a 0.139-acre tract of land out of the E.W. Yeck Survey, Abstract No. 308 and from Residential Estate-2.5 (SF-2.5) to Office Retail (OR) for a 0.50-acre tract of land, being a portion of Lot 1R-1, E.W. Yeck Addition, for the Argyle Vet Clinic, located on the south side of FM 407, Town of Argyle, Denton County Texas.
Hold a public hearing on a proposed property tax rate of $0.39750 per $100 assessed valuation for the tax year 2018 (Fiscal Year 2018 – 2019) for the Town of Argyle, which would increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 6.08% and set September 11, 2018 at 6:00 as the date and time for the second public hearing thereon. (Total tax rate for tax year 2018 remains unchanged from 2017 at $0.3975 per $100 of assessed value).
